You have to put a service kit in them after a while.
They get carboned up bad and dont want to fire after a while.
Consists of a new burner and igniter plus few gaskets. .
Just did one in my truck. Works great again. -
Also check the power supply especially from the battery. I had a positive line get rubbed through. It was causing the same kind of issue. -
Did you find the problem?
I have same problem with my webasto. -
Burner, glow plug, gaskets and a good scrub. Works like a charm

Checked connections, outlet and inlet clamps, etc, and found a piece of newspaper up against the air intake screen between the bunk and the fridge – hard to get at but with an expandable magnet prod, I was able to eventually drag the piece of paper out of the narrow space.
Still didn’t come on, sonI disconnected the 8-prong power cord just above the unit, waited 1 minute and reconnected it. Power light came back on with no flashing. Turned unit on with control panel on bunk wall and “voila”, almost instant heat and blowing better than it ever has!
That piece of paper was probably only partially blocking the air intake at first and then eventually clogged it right up.Oxbow Thanks this. -
HAD PROBLEM FIGURED IT OUT. Parking brake sometimes i would set only trailer. Just pulled tractor parking brake and away it went like a charm. Even though ignitions off somehow its wired into the main system.
