I made $839.04 on Friday a 1.05 gain in my IRA. I made about $200 driving Friday, see were the money is being made ! That just one day and you can lose money also.

I had my own truck for 10 years and stopped putting money in IRA because I was not making lots of money. I made $6,000 in my IRA in last 2 year. That's ok I guess, that just gains from the stock market and the economy growing

 

Yeah that sounds all great but if the market has a reversal and losses that put the brakes on the market so trading stops, then what. That $6K can be wiped out in a couple days and has for many in 2009/2010.

The stock market has had a great run, but the advice I got a long time ago was never put anything in it you will depend on to be there.
