Some of these scales a person gets on are a pain. Case in point, where I am hauling now have to do a number of pull ups to get on it. That's to get on unloaded and loaded. There are many like this but usually smaller elevators. The terminal elevators are no problem.

And I bet your truck has a small wheel base, my Peterbilt is at 280" that would be a pain. When I started out with my cabover it was a pain going to acouple places down here that was built for a wagon and mule team.

Yep, has a 230 inch wheelbase. Still not short enough in some places.

RIP Electric Tarp Motor...My electric tarp motor gave out today. Yes, I know I'm lazy but it saves my shoulders. Had it a year and is supposed to have 5 year warranty, we'll see when I talk to trailer place.

Supposed to be able to roll if manually if motor gives out. Give it a try tonight or in the morning. Believe have to take bolt out by motor and then put handle back on.

Save your shoulders, what about exercise? LOL

Don't they have it where you can sit in your cab and open your hoppers with a push of a button or a flip of a toggle switch?

Give yourself another fifteen years a lot of things will start to hurt. I have seen where you can open the hoppers with a switch. I kinda enjoy opening the hoppers unless they freeze shut.

Don't know how far east you get, but you ever see the Precision Strip trucks with the 5' sidekits and electric tarps? They are controlled from the inside.

Today is the 5th day in the last 6 days that my truck sits idle...

Really looking to get out of hoppers.

Esclipse must be having some problems. There shouldn't be any reason for sitting around that much.

Wonder if Pharm is having the same problems?
