flatbedding or refer

    which is the best route i have pre hires with kllm and arrow. now i really wanna do flatbedding so i can stay active and work, but i know its slow so and wanna make money so would driving refer be better or is flatbedding holding its own rite now in the economy. thanks in advance for any input

    But.....people always have to eat too......

    Although my preference is to reefer (note the "everyone's got to eat comment) I see more loads available on the DAT Boards for flatbed than anything else. I have not heard much good about Arrow though. Do some detailed research. Find some drivers in your area that work for them and ask them about Arrow. Same with KLLM. Though I have not heard much bad about them.

    That is because they are cheap non paying loads that no one in their right mind would pull... So they put them up there hoping to find a desperate driver to pull that load at cost & some below cost...

    Flats you will get treated better. Reefers are kicked around like scum of the earth. Then there is that lumper situation..:biggrin_2554:

    Flats have slowed down a lot, but I haven't heard of any one going to a soup kitchen yet.
