Update on the Pepsi job i went for in Tampa

Don't give up.

I remember a incident with a Pizza LTL company that does nothing but heavy loads of Dough in the DC region with a 18 wheeler no less. That morning Im in a room with 50 people all of us essentially in orientation.

Just one minor problem (Go ahead and laugh...) I was a runt. 6 foot something at about 145 wet. Throwing loads on and off trailers is not the problem. Its the 49 other people 6'5" and 300 pounds of muscle etc.

They were nice about it but for them I was just too small. Like a shelter puppy reject or something.

Keep working on the hunt, you will find something. And when you do remember that first day of being happy because that too will go away. /tease.

 

Keep trying; there's lots of jobs for new grads in the Tampa area.

Give it a try. Submit applications and say you're moving to Florida.
If possible, move to Florida even if you don't have a job lined up. Plenty of jobs in Tampa/Orlando area for new cdl drivers.
@Jmelendez1223 - those local companies will want you to provide an address in Florida and you'll have to switch your cdl to Florida. Changing the cdl is simple as long as you provide a Florida address. No tests to take, but if you have hazmat endorsement, you'll have to do that over again.
