I think I know what a crude oil, light oil, sand, water hauler is in the oilfields. What is a Frac driver?

yeah, i only heard of Frac drivers needed, but i never looked it up. never had any desire to work under those conditions, no matter the money.

i thought it was the dirty drilling water they were hauling away??

Not sure if Atlas Oil does auto fuel but a Frac Fueler is someone who drives a bobtail fuel truck to location and fuels all the frac trucks and other equipment on location. If they are looking for Frac Transport Driver, then you driving a tanker/transport truck with fuel and taking fuel to location to a tank and unloading there so that the Frac Fueler can load their bobtail trucks from the tank.

As a Frac Fueler, it's pretty easy job compared to actual Frac Equipment Operator, which is mostly labor work. If you are fueling manually, you are pulling hoses from your bobtail and fueling the trucks in between stages. If you are fueling remotely, I believe you're in a trailer and fueling frac trucks via remote control but not sure if Atlas Oil does remote fueling.

Edit to add: OP, thought you were the one that posted the link to Atlas Oil but it wasn't you. So, a Frac Driver could be Frac Equipment Operator, in which it's mostly labor work. You are a member of the Frac crew, which involves, driving frac trucks, rigging up (unload iron and hoses from truck just driven, putting all the iron and hoses together with a sledge hammer), fracking the well, then rig down (break all the iron and hoses down with sledge hammer) and then moving to next location.

So, if it's with a fuel company, like Atlas Oil, then you are doing what I described above as a Frac Fueler or Frac Transport Driver. But, if it's with a oil service company, like Halliburton, then you are a Frac Equipment Operator and will be doing intense labor work. Or, if it's for a third party that moves equipment only for frac companies, then you'll be driving frac trucks from location to another location or location to yard or where ever they want the trucks to be moved.

So, depends on what type of company the Frac Driver is driving for, will decide what type of work it involves.

I thought water drivers delivered fresh water to sites and/or took salt water away to be disposed.

Generally it’s pulling one of these compressor trailers around but I guess some could consider one hauling water, chemicals, sand etc to a Frac site to be a Frac driver.

The real difference between being a frac hand and a driver is upward mobility. Driving jobs are driving jobs. There's more opportunity with frac.

A ‘Frac Sand Driver’ hauls various kinds/ blends of sand to a well site & either blows it out into their tank Pneumatically, or does a Belly drop if it’s 6” or bigger Bottom drop doors on it.
A ‘Frac Tank Driver’ hauls either Water/ Waste Water, or Grey Water in the Square looking tanks like in the pic provided.
