    Hello

Has anyone used battery powered grease gun? If so do they work like the manual ones or better than that...?
Is it worth putting extra 100 bucks into em.?

I'm interested in that answer as well. I've seen them, just never used them.

I worked at a Ford Truck dealership (in the parts department) for a few years and there were a couple of techs that loved the bat powered ones (and the pneumatic ones as well) since it made it so they could use 1 hand on the gun and one to keep the hose from popping off. They actually used the bat ones more than the air ones so they wouldn't have to drag the airline around with them as well.. personally I haven't used one myself but figured I'd give my .02 from the observation of the techs in the shop !

it is just as nighthawk34 said. Those battery powered guns spoil me. I cant stand running a hand operated grease gun anymore. The air powered ones work great, but of course need air..:biggrin_255:. Like NH said, hold the hose on fitting with one hand and squeeze trigger, works great.
And yes, they are an expensive luxtury, but worth it to me. They seem to last 1-2 years and i use them very frequently. And they dont always get the best of care...

No they are not. I was checking on amazon and they range anywhere from $50 to 250. (depending on brand etc)

I don't think $50 is expensive if you compare standard (manual) one's at 30 bucks.

I don't know what you guys are driving, but I have an endless supply of air, I use an air greaser, just get a cheap 50' hose and a glad hand

The cheapest one I found (didn't look that hard) was $110 (Lincoln Guardian). The Lincoln PowerLuber and the Alemite gun were in the $200+ range.

On that note, Put a quick disconnect on it and you can also use that hose to put air in your tires. :yes2557:
