Other thing is, there's this old sentence in Polish.
Ameryka jest dla Byka, Kanada jest dla dziada.

Which means, America is for strong ones, Canada is for grand dads.

But seriously, it can't be much worse than it's in Europe, and if I really sell everything I can easily buy new truck, trailer with cash, no drivers, no thinking what he is going to do today.

One thing I brought up in the old thread is that non-synchronized transmissions in Europe have been extinct for almost 20 years if not more.

daf105paccar and Cat sdp Thank this.

i would say 40years ago at least 80% of trucks had syncro transmissions.
trucks with fuller gearboxes were hard to sell as used. we had 1984 man 19.361 ## with fuller twinsplit gearbox.
zf had its non-syncro transmissions with K designation, it was available at MB as option from1973-1990, never seen one in live.
it was mostly used on styer (still well below syncro version of course)

one at MB in malaysia/indonesia (EDIT: note that he uses clutch only once while upshift except when making range change, while downshift is with double clutch).

@Cat sdp no doghouse, even at late 80s
