What do you do with it? I mean you can hang a deer in a garage or tree. But a elk you use a crane or cut it up into smaller pieces?

Edit, do you pull it out of the woods with a horse? Man I really ask because we dont have anything that big here. And dragging a buck deer out of the woods will make a man out of anyone. I can't imagine a elk.

Could be interpretation, I read it as he wants to try to load it without opening the trailer which I don’t blame him for and was trying to figure if he could scale it closed. To me it maybe shows more fore thought that just loading it and assuming it will be ok. You would be amazed at how many people doing this job and have done it a long time and don’t understand the concept.

horses are good, 4 wheelers are better and killing them next to a road is best — but yes, start whittling and break them down is the only way I found to handle them.

You are correct. 83 would be the max for 7 axles. My main concern would be the neck of the trailer. There was no mention of a flip neck. Daily uses a long decked neck 2 axle, but the overwhelming majority of the 2 axles I've seen do not have the neck to allow a 4 axle to move the 5th wheel forward enough to utilize the axles.

Maybe he bought the correct trailer. Maybe not. In order to scale an 81000 lb load on that trailer, he's going to have to load that one perfectly.

Where do you come up with “83”? I’m not sure about his neck length, I see a lot of trucks running around without enough slide or enough neck I’ve never understand that.

You're right. He may be using a lighter tractor and 40k rears and added a dummy axle.
