The majority of companies will ask you to take another when you come to orientation.
Depending on the company, it can be more, or less complete than the one you previously took.
And yer gonna pee in another cup, as well.jefte1 Thanks this. -
+1 one on the pee in a cup. I had a shipping dock/truck driver who started as a temp. He passed his DOT, but three weeks later failed his pre-employment. Funny part, he was upset like it was our fault that he failed.

Are you taking the course as a "company paid training" program? Or, are you paying for it yourself, or through a government program?
A company paid training program I know of, it was all part of the package.
However, if you are getting the training the other way, it will be up to the company. -
no curtwayne, going thur the wia program in south carolina, the school (tri county tech_ requires u to have a physical before starting. thanks for all the info guys.
-
Yeah, no sense in training you if you couldn't pass the physical.
I know of companies that will take your recent physical document.
But, you will most likely have to pass a D.O.T. drug screen, for their own sake. -
thnaks again curtwayne. which companies take previous physical? drug screen no problem ever so no worried about that.
-
Would retaking the physical be a problem?
The reason a lot of companies insist on doing their own is that they know people can get a doctor to sign off on one, even if they shouldn't pass. -
txviking has a point, are you afraid of not passing a second physical? Companies vary. If you are looking at a particular company, talk to a recruiter and ask if they'll accept your current physical form. You will have to provide a copy for their file, if they do.
