Just had some basal cell carcinoma taken off my left arm. They did Mohs surgery on it. Google Mohs surgery 99.9 % cure.

I bought these window shades on Amazon a month ago . The stick to the window and come off easy , they come in a set of 4 for around $20 and they really help .

These are what I use. I wear a polyester microfiber shirt from walmart underneath and wear this over it. They're almost sheer, you can easily breath through it. I've worn them on 117 degree days in Phoenix and they're amazing and tough and very comfortable. The website usually has the poorly selling colors on sale occasionally.

I've started to see a lot of guys in my area with the single arm solar sleeve to protect the left arm, while I don't have skin cancer yet, my Dr. has warned me about this danger, I had a sleeve but it disappeared, need to get a new one.slow.rider, Rideandrepair, truckdriver31 and 1 other person Thank this.

Yeah I need to start wearing long sleeves in the summer.
I always use sun block but still...slow.rider and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
I’m just the new guy but what I have been doing is using a sunscreen spray on. I forgot what the rating on it is, it came from Ollie’s. It’s really convenient it just stinks a little for a minute I just crack the window and spray it on... on really hot days I put a shop towel or something to cover my eyes and spray my face as well. I should probably always spray my face, or honestly a lotion would probably work a little better at least for the face... it really stings if you get a little in your eyes. I am bad about only doing this on hot days or only doing my arms and hands. I wish you the best.

33 yrs of Driving for a living, has added extra wrinkles on the left side of my face, especially around my eye. Both arms looks bad, Scars from wrenching, Left one especially, from the sun, on top of scars. I don’t like wearing sunglasses and rarely wear hats anymore. There was a time when it was believed better to squint, than wear sunglasses. I guess they were wrong, or sunglasses are better these days. My bald head needs a hat these days, but I usually forget to wear one. Protect yourself, To paraphrase my favorite Uncle,”Do as I say, not as I do”, Lol. It’s a serious matter.
slow.rider, PE_T and truckdriver31 Thank this. -
I have to have a hat or my hood on. The sun in Az is just brutal. I've notice the left side of my neck and face are getting pretty beat up. I may have go drive in Europe to even things outslow.rider, Hegemeister and truckdriver31 Thank this.

Reading this thread, the ceramic door window covering looks like the best bet with appropriate protection when outside.
