Guy doesn't speak much English. He switched me to the authorized contact for his insurance broker the policy is paid in full for a year and the tags are paid in full and valid for another year.

The truck I'm in at this point doesn't require IRP or ifta stickers because it's only a two car trailer for extended wheel base, high cube Sprinter vans and whole combination does not go over 26000 pounds.

I appreciate everyone's concern and telling me to not drive the vehicle that I fully agreed with every single one of you that is why the vehicle got left at the weigh station it was inspected at and stayed there until I could bring paperwork back that passed the cops scrutiny.

I gave the boss the benefit of the doubt and I'm at least going to get his truck back to his terminal.

Considering they just spent close to $1,000 on flights hotels meals and everything, I believe he actually wanted to fix the squeaky wheel. Otherwise why not take the keys back when I offered it to him and find some other sucker who doesn't know better?

I flew back on my own dime he could have easily taken the keys I was handing them parted ways never paid me and deny I ever worked for him or whatever shady stuff he could come up with. He took the high road and I haven't completely given up on Humanity yet. Him included.

It's 50-50 whether the delivery is paid in cash or is QuickPay to the company.

My aunt works for the underwriter Artesian and truckers casualty. I also have never had a problem calling an insurance broker pretending to be a customer verifying authenticity of insurance documents if I have to do that every morning before I fire up the truck until I get home or feel comfortable I'll do that.

My father has run a Number and Authority for 37 years. I just don't want to do box freight. And I can't be in that close proximity to my dad for that long.

I think u are making a mistake getting back in that truck. There is to many trucking jobs at your disposal to be working for somebody like that, no matter if they fix the truck or not. Just my 2 cents but good luck to u driver, hope everything works, out in your favor

You're not even in an actual semi truck with an actual car hauler set up? Are you in a pick up truck?

I am glad I went home. Its Saturday Evening now, but they flew me from the truck, to their terminal, met with the owner, sat down and had a longchat about his company being legal,as well as his trucks

Dodge Ram 5500 with a sleeper. Guy has a nine car set up but I'm not going to touch that with a ten-foot pole.

The only way I'm getting his truck back to him in South Carolina right now is because he dropped the registration weight to 26,000 pounds. Otherwise I'd still be waiting for South Carolina to finish processing the paperwork for his IRP and IFTA. I got issued the warnings mentioned in this post because he put the highest weight rating he could get away with on this truck on the registration when it was absolutely unnecessary the truck would never tow a 29000 pound trailer.

I'd like to drive a car hauler in a bigger tractor believe me but I went the farm boy way of getting my CDL by just booking the test and taking it.

It was my mistake thinking that I'd get some Class A driving experience to look for a better job with.

If anything I'm scrubbing the tires off of his triple axle trailer playing around in TA parking lots practicing my backing from every conceivable direction.
