What's bad is everyone buying a used 30,000 emission truck and jumping on load boards. It's so easy until it's not.
This isn't even remotely bad from what I see. I have weathered some bad and this ain't it. Not even close. Lol.
This #### has never been easy, and waiting for UBER to offer up a hot load while you play video games ain't happening. This has been a pretty solid year.

And I cant wait until they fall down-

FMCSA needs to really Stop it! They're like little kids these days handing out authorities without batting an eye on proper Business Plans.

Just go buy a 30k volvo- And Call Brokers.......Your really gonna get far that way.

Authorities need to stop- It'll get the rates back up- And The idiots will go do something else.

Yes sir... Because a true capitalist will feed on the week. i.e... buy low and sell high. When companies are in financial trouble, big money steps in to bail them out and sells out later when things come back to normal. I agree the economic bubble has to pop sooner or later, but the economy will "BLOW" another bubble again... Does this make sense??

Raising the entry barrier will do nothing but increase the megas foot print in this industry.

I like freedom and choice. I can be a company driver if I want. I can buy a truck and lease to a good carrier if i want. Or i can get my own authority if I want. That's a good thing.

on ttr trucking is soooo hard usually. Unless you drive a white volvo...

“It’s too easy for them! Make it harder for them to get trucks!”

yeah that sounds familiar... how about getting a better job and hauling some better freight and stop blaming others for your lack of money.

Yea 99% of the time its brokers calling us and throwing loads at us. The few we deal with always call us 1st because they know the freight will get there hassle free

protecting our gravy, thats why you don't hear it much now.

3 plus dollars a mile all day everyday on our outbound 287-346 miles depending on the warehouse we go to. Now finding something coming back thats worth putting in the wagon, well thats a different story lol

Been parked in greensboro NC since 1:30. Ive cold called the 14 brokers in my phone and expanded to 200 mile radius of target destination. Called on all the loads that could work. All garbage, thats been covered.

Ive only got a year under my professional driver belt but this is the worst its been for me so far.
