Keep this printed out and read it in one or two years when they screw you over. Enjoy it while it lasts.
Sour grapes? Kinda. Two years of solid driving. Average week: 2,987 miles (two year average.) Best week? 3,484 miles. Took any run any time anywhere. No accidents, no violations, no tickets no nothing! One driver said I hit him (didn't do that) in the face. No marks. I am on belt below a black belt (Red with black stripe) 6' 1" 263 (Not fat). I would have broke his friggin' jaw or face if I would have hit him. Go figure. They fired him 4 days later for backing into a building. Glad they kept him and freed me to get with a decent company.

Congrats, DirtDart. I used to run out of Sumner, WA but spent a fair bit of time in Troutdale. Last year and a couple of months I was running dedicated Wal-Mart out of Grandview. Good luck out there. Have fun, keep learning and stay safe.

So how was orentation? I already have my CDL but need training so I will be going to orentation on May 26th in Fontana, CA. I have an issue with my BP. I heard they make you excersice then take your BP..is that correct? Also, while your sitting after orentation waiting for a mentor are you being paid?

    Thanks,
    Mike

I got my trainer the day I was told I wold and we had a BLAST for 6 weeks. During the 4th this year,we shut down for 4 days and went to his hometown. My mentor was cool. We got to hang out with his family and had a great time. I got lucky enough to land a good one who taught me exactly how to drive the right way and be safe. I know not everyone will land a good mentor/DM,but to all I wish the best of luck.
