Can a truck dealership remotely disable my truck?

not sure if that’s true if it is, does it apply to CMV’s?

not sure but it can be a simple harness issue or ECM issue but won’t know until I guess stealership looks into it.

The car has to be off . it won't disable while running.

 

How many payments into the truck are you that your having these costly repairs?

The guy has a CAN datalink issue or an ECM power/ground problem. There's no magical boogeyman out there shutting down his truck.

 

The first rule about the boogeyman is: You do not talk about the boogeyman.

 

Ya, truck won't fire up with out the data link being active.
I think there is a five amp fuse that powers the data link. Worth looking into.
