12' off the back. Covered under my annual permit in Idaho, and under trip permit in Wyoming as long as it is flagged. Note to self: put flags on stick before tying stick down.......kinda hard to reach!

I'm no crane operator, but I would think that would be dang spooky to use the crane like that for recovery pulls with lateral tension. I'm sure they know what they are doing, but uncertain just the same.

I was thinkin the same thing. I'm guessing the crane is just helping at the last stage getting it over the edge, but I bet that crane operator has a plan for freewheeling his line just in case!! Loco weighs in around 400K but the trucks have been removed and that took a bunch of weight off. Still spooky....

Looks sketchy to me, my concern would be if one of those winch tractors would slip and transfer the load.
No free fall on a hydro.

my 10 axle wouldn’t fit but I charged them 10 axle rates

    but I still lost money

I did however test the new to me trailer out

went close to 110 with all the steel and racks.

there are 6 2x8 by inch thick steel slabs under the racks.

I will leave the 160-170k on 6 axles loads to the silver Volvo guys.

I only moved it less than 1/2 mile inside the plant
