Just got my cool guy lug covers on. I had these on my WE truck. I also cleaned up the wheels. Sure it’s snowing up the hill and raining on again and off again...but polished aluminum doesn’t care it wants it’s love.

Ok so since a few have mentioned holiday traffic, I will give my story of holiday traffic yesterday.
I was headed to a shipper very near O' Hare airport in Chicago. It was about 2100 CST. I'm north bound on I-294, traffic is almost non existant. Following a route I have taken many times I take exit 40 to access I-190 (which I will immediately leave via exit 2A). As soon as I round the bend of exit 40 and can see the toll booth, I know I made a vital mistake by not considering the holiday traffic on I-190 going to O'Hare.
A solid river of unruly brake lights was the scenery for nearly the next 2 hours, by which time I had managed to traverse the 0.8 miles to get to exit 2A. Yes that is correct, less than 1 mile and it took me nearly 2 hours, there were no lanes just a mish-mash of traffic. After a while I realized the somewhat line like formation of cars I was in wasn't even in a marked lane, but had turned the right shoulder into its own lane.
On 2 seperate occasions sone idiot taxi drivers did stupid things which prompted an immediate 5 to 10 second Air-Horn Therapy Session. Let me tell ya, those triple trumpet train horns COMPLETELY drown out ALL other noises of a massive traffic jam in the immediate vicinity. And the idiot taxi driver immediately stopped his attempts of stupidity... At least for a little while... LOL. And many other cars around me wisely decided to give me a little more room.
Once I reached the ramp for exit 2A I started grabbing gears (via the manual option of my I-Shift tranny) and it was smooth sailing the last 2 or 3 miles to my shipper.
Also by some miraculous grace of divine power I was able to complete my drop and hook even though I was over 3 hours late... Someone was working late them selves to attempt to keep the next days schedule on time. So thank fully I was able to get clear of Chicago and made it to Altoona, IA... My ELD shows 25 seconds of violation before I could get the off duty button pushed and saved.RidgeRunner731, x1Heavy, Fold_Moiler and 6 others Thank this. -

#### y'all were chatty today...
I dh'ed almost 300mi to reload in Seguin so I can get stuck in somd ridiculous traffic on the way home.
I have successfully lost the passenger side fuel cap as well. The f'in thing apparently wouldn't stay on and commited suicide somewhere between the Petro and here at the steel mill. Now I gotta figure out how to seal it at almoat 5pm, the day before Thanksgiving on the way to W Tx Monday. Guess Im stopping in SA to rob one off a truck in my old bosses yard.RidgeRunner731, FerrissWheel and G13Tomcat Thank this. -

WTF do you do with 106mph winds? Where do you hide? Point the tail of the trailer into the wind? Leaving out the litany of apps and such to avoid the weather in the first place. I’m at a loss.
