I kinda feel like that today, did an 18 hour shift moving loaders yesterday and didn't get back to the shop until 2am. I should go in and get some more done on my brake job, but I'm just not feeling it.

You boys have it easy. I'm trying to smoke 4 Cornish hens and a turkey breast in 165 mph winds. Looks like this will be a epic fail. Hope the sides are goods cause the poultry is taking a solid beating. Thinking of conceding defeat and sticking them in the oven.

    Ribs and chicken are done.
That must a hell of a grill to stay put in 165mph winds!

If you put them in the oven, might as well stick your man card in there with them :D

You can do it. Just pretend it's a hurricane party.

Gusts to 300. Hat keeps blowing off and can't get the grill above 205. Looking like a fool out here. Big Texas 10-4 on the oven.

We just finished eating. This is the 1st time I havent gone to someone elses house for Thanksgiving. It was the ex wifes parents, then ex gf's, and for the last 4yrs my wifes parents. We invited them up here this year and her mom said no because of a list of excuses

    1. we dont have cable and she couldn't watch the Thanksgiving day parade and then all those bs lifetime movies.

    2. She is "deathly allergic" to our cats. Even though they were at her house over a year ago for over 2mo with absolutely zero issues.

    3. Its farther for them to drive to our place than for us to drive into the city to their house...huh? Because its super easy for us to pack up an almost 2yr old and drive 55mi each way.

I just laugh and shake my head at that lady because she is nuts and thinks the word revolves around her.

I'm sure she will bring you leftovers. Turkey dinner is better that way, anyway....IMHO. I'm still not sure if I've got a run tomorrow pm; had one last night. :( ENJOY your 3 days off how YOU want to. I know 'I' do.......

What planet do you live on that there are 300mph gusts of wind?

Well CHP and CalTrans closed the grapevine due to a couple inches of snow and a #### ton of idiots. Looks like it’s closed until midnight.

I just plowed through the buffet at Petro. Landstar was kind enough to give us $20 coupons for rolling over the holiday. I’m pretty sure I ate waaaaay too much. You know how you feel uncomfortable from eating like a giant pig? Ya. That’s me right now. I’m going to lay in my bunk and sweat in 40° weather for awhile. :D
