Nah, the answer to all the problems in trucking is raising entry barriers.

Any condition resulting in a 41% suicide rate should be a disqualifier.

 

Gender dysphoria is a condition recognized by/ the DSM. The only treatment available for it is gender-reassignment surgery.

In spite of (kind of) effective surgical techniques, the suicide rate for people diagnosed with and treated for gender dysphoria is 41%.

Name another illness with that suicide rate, and then justify giving a CDL to someone suffering from it.

There is a 2/5 chance you will get behind the wheel and kill yourself.

And you want to change trucking regulations to make that easier.

Calm down there hoss. If him putting up some stats triggers you that hard you probably won't make it out on the road when you experience real problems.....

 

Pretty sure it's a disqualifying psychiatric condition, anyways. If it's not, nothing is.

 

I just completed the gycdl program in Marshfield and go otr for phase 2 in a couple days, I had the same 4 to 1 ratio and honestly can say the training was top notch, you get what you put into it.
