    He stated it had N14 top end, I see a N14 oil cooler too. N14 has bigger piston coolers and needs more volume of oil not pressure. That’s why I retained my N14 oil pump along with the N14 oil cooler. No real improvement putting a N14 cooler on a Big Cam unless he wanted the coolant filter setup. Actually everything I see is N14. But still it’s a nice truck and 1 of the 1st B models (short hood).

    I’m quite familiar with this shift pattern, but have been told it doesn’t exist by a few older than me over the years. This truck has a 6-71 in it.

    They can’t comprehend shifting from 3 high to 4 low, then 4 low to 5 low, then 5 low and split shift back to 4 high, before shifting straight to 5 high. I’ve been told you don’t go backwards in gears when upshifting, well normally you don’t but you do in this case.....
