I don't remember what it was now that I drove, but it was exactly as you say. I believe it may have been a different shift pattern in the trans, but the sequence using the two speed was the same. When I was a kid working on the farm in the summers the neighbors would help, or we would help them during harvest. You ended up driving everyone's truck's hauling grain to town by the time it was done.
