getting to a terminal will be hit and miss might get to one every day and then not get to one for a month.. black river is the only terminal that has any exercise equipment right now. mileage bonus is paid weekly, fuel is paid monthly, safety is paid quarterly and yearling.
first year i would expect to make in the mid 30000 but after that the next year should be able to make in the mid 40000 then on up from there to mid 50000 to mid 60000 depending on how much you want to work. being right there you are in good spot for freight as we lots of customers in the chicago area.
Going to MTI April 13TH Richfield WI.

Im going to assume the fuel bonus ties in with the idle bonus (or they are the same), I was also wondering if we ever run to New hampshire (or close by) as my daughter lives there.
i also have family in ft worth texas and read we occasionallly go there as well.
I know millis also states that they run mainly east of the mississippi, but how often do opprtunities come up to run west, or is it just a once in a blue moon thing?
Thanks again and be safe -

ive been with millis since OCT. of last year, and I havent seen California yet, but been to FT. Worth twice. you just have to be in the right place at the right time to go to Cali.
-
yeah california is hard to get to i went there twice within a couple of months but have not been back in almost two years now.
-
Why on earth would anybody want to go to Cali. anyways?!?!?!??? Thats a whole other country for truckers. My last run was to Dallas then down to Waco to pick up glass to bring back to west allis. My 3rd time to Texas thats a great run. Although it was over a hundred degrees last weekend when I was there! -
Well things have definately changed for me! I'm no longer a road driver. I got a local spotter job here at the Milwaukee brewery. So now I have to work for a living LOL 12hr shifts 60 plus hours a week. Don't get me wrong I loved being OTR and was #### good at it, but my wife and kids needed me here at home. So, now i don't have to miss any of my sons football games or my daughters basketball games. But I must say I will miss being out on the road. I can always go back over the road if and when I want to. I am so glad I work for Millis Transfer You guys will be too! I have nothing bad to say about this company. You will get all the miles you want. It is a beautiful thing. Anyhow, just thought I'd let you all know my situation. So, feel free to track me down when your at the brewery between 6pm and 6am. I will be more then willing to help you guys out it can get pretty tight in there in some spots. Well until next time....
Hitman Thanks this. -
Just one question for you, what exactly does a local spotter do?
-
he drives the yard truck at the brewery putting trailers in the dock all nite and good luck with the yard job. i have a buddy of mine that works here who doing that down in ft. worth but he works from 5pm to 5am at nite

also does it seem like there is more running with coors in the picture?
colorado or california would be a nice trip every now and then, not to mention some good miles
