You should not have a blindspot on the right side of the truck except for near the nose, and that should be small enough to not be able to hide a car, if you adjust your mirrors properly. Most truckers dont know how to do this. It's also possible to just be a little tired and make an F up. But I would have made fun of him NO MATTER WHAT. ESPECIALLY if he was an owner operator!

You should re-think your career. Now is not a good time to get into this.

LOL, its like he tried to do that.

I park like that. When i go to places like walmart and need to ensure that a 4 wheeler can't block me in. At a truckstop, thats just...WTF?

there is no blind spot on a truck if you know what your doing, but you did not see the wreck so you don't know what happened..

its probably easier for him to get a job than a seasoned driver (he's cheaper to run) but there is nothing to pull these days, should get better when we get a new congress

Oh, so you're one of those people? Explain to me how to remove the blind spot at the front and rear of the rig? I always have a very tiny blindspot near the fender mirrors, but not big enough to hide a vehicle. You can't possibly tell me you can get rid of the blindspot behind a 53' van. come on.

I know exactly what happened. This kind of thing happens all the time. Even if i saw it, you would be telling me the same thing. "you dont know what happened, youre not the driver"

It would depend on your mirror set up, but I've encountered MANY trucks with blind spots. I've always gone with "If you can't see the driver's face in the mirror, he can't see you." It's pretty ignorant to state that any vehicle has no blind spots, much less one as large as a truck.
