i mostly just pull a hopper during spring season, i used to haul a lot of road salt in the winter with a hopper but rates arn't what they should be and for some reason driving threw a salt mine with my truck isn't to appealing to me...lol im normally still tied up with construction work during fall harvest. hoppers can be kinda hit and miss. but if you can do it when its good and do something else when its not its not a bad deal.

So, is it safe to say Hoppers don't have work year round? It's just a seasonal thing.

oh there is certainly year round work for hoppers. i could easily keep the hopper loaded year round. its just its hard to get good rates year round.
