All value vs Inflation
Link goes to a image showing a tiny pot of gold at the far end of rainbow to a lucky charms character.

I do a little warships now and then once in a while. I tossed out everything except the british cruiser and the Scharonhorst which is essentially a really big cruiser itself and causes alot of trouble when done right. I am just a generic player, nothing special. You wont notice much of anything. I know enough not to be first into the objective, that only allows like 11 enemy ships to sink me in 10 seconds. So I get crafty and hunt. With a eye to protecting our carriers.
The biggest flaw in the game is certain destroyers using concealment will be about 2.9 km from me and I will never see them. I usually abandon a area when I have a enemy destroyer that close get around a island and wait with guns pointed that way should he make the corner half a mile away. They always chase me hoping to torp me.
I don't play online too much anymore. Age is settling in with the effects of being stressed while sitting. Its a negative impact on the body overall. I do knife a occasional sniper who has his eye in the scope too much firing too much from one place. Always enjoyed that. They always make a ton of really angry reacting when they understand they failed to leave a clay behind them and get knifed.WesternPlains and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
And this is what so pisses me off about myself.
So he's Joe stress communications.
Except right up to when the lady that's honcho ing the rodeo calls me and says, "We're not gonna need your truck."
Now Joe is hiding under the bed. Think his real name is Rob. Think he's a F Canadian too with a Michigan phone number.
Call office, mobile, text, email.....Rob has suddenly left the planet.
Call LS CS.
Rob is still out there ( in space ).
Think Rob's boss calls.
Fast forward to they definitely aren't using the truck. Give lady Rob's bosses phone number, ok you're clear.
How much is my TONU gonna be, please tell me at least $500, or I'll just consider it an insult.
So like an hour later Rob re-enters the atmosphere.
"What happened?"
You know what happened. You sent me on a fishing trip. Just send me my TONU so I can forget you exist. You did an outstanding job of shoving this up my ###.
" Well we can discuss this like gentlemen or you can take your truck and get down the road."
That's what I'm doing, I just want my TONU.
"I've been a Landstar agent for 17 years and....."
Dude. The hallmark of a total loser jagoff is reading me your resume.
"WELL F YOU MOTHER F."
Click.
( I guess when you give real character summations it stings a bit )
Book another load. Back to Phoenix even. I'm here now.,)
Phone rings again.
"Look I'm sorry the load canceled......."
I could careless. I'm done with you. Can you please just send the TONU.
"I'VE BEEN AT THIS A LOT LONGER THAN YOU. FOR 17 YEARS......."
Dude if you're gonna read me your resume again, I'd like some educational background also."
"GO F YOURSELF YOU MOTHER F."
Click.
Now he emails.
4 times.
I'm like dude are you a stalker?
BUT he put he's giving me the $500 amongst his rant, in writing, which is all I need for CS to shove it down his throat.
And like I said, i smelled the strong odor of weasel when it all started, so I've no one to blame but myself.RidgeRunner731, dosgatos, Cattleman84 and 10 others Thank this. -
Ran across several that were long established agents that I did a preemptive "No thanks". A couple were "one and done" cause the whole thing just didn't feel right.
Had one go off on me cause I would not haul is 45.5k pound load (that could not be done legally with the appointment times set without a team) for $1.25 per mile to a dead freight zone . After he ranted for a few minutes about Landstar trucks not able to carry enough weight and wanting too much money. I was like "Dude just don't bother to call me ever again". Which started another tirade. So I hung up and Called BCO Services about that guy, Gal let it slip he was a known problem. She seemed kinda stuned when I voiced my opinion that they should terminate his contract.D.Tibbitt, WesternPlains, InTooDeep and 2 others Thank this. -
As long there is 500 or more cold dollars sitting in your hand, all else is deceptive BS. Bury that agent and be well.
RidgeRunner731, D.Tibbitt, dwells40 and 2 others Thank this. -
