ELD for O/O with a fleet of ONE

There's actually an ELD called Blue Ink. So I was close.

 

What ELD's have no monthly fees, but one time purchase option? I saw garmin ELD on amazon, however it doesn't have great reviews. I hate any kind of monthly fees and rather just pay it once and forget about it.

 

VDO roadlog

 

Throwing my One20 eld in the trash. Did an update this morning and now can't get app to open.

Talked to a rep at their booth here at mid America truck show and he knew nothing about the app. Lol

So I went and bought the VDO Roadlog after talking to them here at show.

Sounds like a much better unit. None of that bluetooth junk.

 

I’m impressed with the responsiveness of the VDO. It’s way more responsive than my experiences with Qual comm ever where . This thing does not freeze. The IFTA mileage it tracks by state is also very accurate.

Only two complaints are the fuel entering system is a little inconvenient and that you have to go back into the log & annotate every on duty status and manually type in what you did. I’ve already reported this to them. They need to have an additional screen after you click on duty, that gives you pre annotated choices like - fueling, pre trip inspection, check load, loading, unloading etc ...

Rank mentioned in another thread about the print out. Have you had to do a print out for a roadside inspection?

 

I use keeptruckin. One truck. I've had no problems
