239k all along the river, up Whitebird, up Lewiston, those are some long pulls!

I'm old enough I remember both of those grades before the new alignments were built.

 

To be honest with you I’ve been a lot heavier than that, yet these loads tested my driver abilities. 8 miles a hour up both grades. I would start white bird grade at 50 mph then be down to 8 with in 1/8 mile of the climb. Can’t miss a shift

Thanks! I truly hope it helps someone at least narrow down a possibility. That was the hardest and most expensive part of my situation was so many possibilities. Diesel engine are truly simple, but not in my wildest dreams would have thought something so simple cause so much headache. Best wishes to all the owner operators out there!!
