You never see anyone doing it because they piss in a water jug or Gatorade bottle.

Then the considerate ones put it it a plastic bag and throw in in a trash can.

Unfortunately a lot of truckers are filthy pigs nowadays, and throw the bottle on the ground wherever they happen to be.
Please don't do that.

There are also bags you can get that turn piss into a non-biohazard gel, that you just throw away.

Your plan would work fine, too. If it's your best option, have at it.

 

A lot of drivers use a wide mouth plastic bottle like a Gatorade bottle. I actually use a Big Gulp cup (easier to aim when I’m half asleep), which I then pour into a plastic water jug.

It’s important to rinse out whatever you use after you empty it! I have an electric kettle for boiling water for my coffee and oatmeal in the morning, and I use hot water to sterilize the cup and jug. If you don’t at least rinse, it gets really nasty in a hurry!

 

I have a human built number two camp toilet with dry chemcial treatments and human little supply for it. Thats for really bad days. There is a aviation style box with form fitting male or female input to collect urine plus minor supplies to sanitize it and so forth. Its strictly for impossible situations.

The Ultimate Tool will be a Foley, a plastic tube about 30 inches long and a collections bag.

Otherwise, get dressed for weather go walk to the restaurant and take care of your nature calls there in the correct bathroom. Monitor your fluid and food intake early before bed and try not to be over active like a stressed 10 year old wetting the bed. (Could be a sign of a medical issue or three that really needs a proper doctor to get into.)

Trucking has gotten dirty, masty and unacceptable I fight back with these habits that I write here.

 

I pour my jug out in either a rest area/truck stop urinal, or into vegetation far from where anyone will be smelling it. Then as noted above I rinse/sterilize it. Reuse/recycle! I reuse.

 

When you get your own truck you will have several good options.

It’s more common to keep a 32 oz Gatorade/Powerade bottle for the task. Use restrooms when they are available. Use the bottle when restrooms aren’t available. You can pour the bottle into a toilet next time you visit it. You may not want to walk around with a filled P bottle, so you might throw it into your shower bag and take that into the restroom or shower.

I carry a big duffle bag with my clothes for the week. I also brink a small gym bag or backpack used for going to a shower. It just needs to be big enough for a change of clothes, toiletries bag, and P bottle, if you use one. There is no good reason to be dumping P all over the truck stop or anyone’s property. That’s why truckers aren’t allowed in any places. Be a good ambassador for the industry, if not for the industry then for you. People really do treat you better if you don’t look, smell, act like some hobo.
