Pretty sure o got another drive cam event this afternoon
Left the jurupa yerminal after fueling and came upon a red lite that changed to red.
Was in a no man's land zone. Lite would have been red by time I got there or h
    Hard brake it to stop.
With cars wait I g for the green I decided to stop. Didn't lock the brakes but came to a sudden stop and put nose of trailer pass the white line. Same time saw the tattle tale got red inking lite. Dis t back up since wasn't 100% sure if anyone was in the back. Oh well.... Had the same event earlier this week so I am sure I wi get a message about a coaching thingy l.

Lancaster TX. On to Houston in the morning. Going to give customer a call to find out if they will take it on a sunday. Turns out im delivering to a powerplant/refinery.

Yeah weekend coverage is a pita.

We got one ECT for our whole division in Gary during the weekends. Granted most issues i tend to have, I dont need someone from flatbed anyway.

Plus I get away with sending a mac 0 and just doing my job. I know what needs to happen and make best decision accordingly and my DM typically fixes any system BS monday. Only thing i have to wait on is a dispatch if i need fuel.

See if your DL will give you their cell number. Mine encouraged her best drivers to text her if they needed something on the weekend (during normal hours) so that she could keep us rolling rather than waiting around for ECT.

I have 3 DMs cell, my Fleet manager. And the Flatbed Saftey manager. And everyone in the Phoenix flatbed office knows me since i was in there alot due to my previous accounts.

But that comes down too, if any of them are near thier laptop. Normally I dont have a problem big enough to need them during the weekend. And I try to save that for something major. Like a load being screwed up or wrong numbers etc.

I normally call Tcall in phoenix for something like fuel during the weekend.

    Fountain valley ca.
Picked up load at Ross in shafter this morning and delivered it in sante fe springs ca.
Alot of rain today. Grapevine was really foggy. Chp had closed 5 south just south of templin hwy to get emergency vehicles in place. Thwn left 2 right lanes closed.
Afyer delivering the 1st load I picked up in Compton ca and delivers here at 7am tomorrow.
I am parked behind the store after calling to make sure it was ok.
Trailer I picked up at Ross didn't have it's registration. I was planning to go to jv terminal but forecast of high winds up in the high desert changed that. So I went to the intermodul yard in Montebello to see if I could get it there.
Only guard was there and no one in office. Guard said fax didn't work.
Ended up just doing a 30 m break
Was manning on going back there after picking this load up but she said that dry vans are no.lomger allowed there since they ate so.packed of trailers
    Reason I came here instead

    Houston. The Terminal.
Deliver in the AM. Come back secure my stack and go. As it turns out my trailers are already stacked, so that simplifies my day. Thought about securing it tonight but my current load has so many straps i couldnt secure it fully anyway, so whatevs, ill just do it tommorow. Gonna do a 34 in Dallas to see a friend. My clock will be done tommorow anyway. Then the rest of the way to Denver.

Snow here in MN when I'm supposed to be coming off home time.
I was sent a decent pplan this morning, and I am being sent 70 miles in the wrong direction for an mt. A Walmart blitz trailer they need to get out of there.

And it looks like none of the roads have been treated or cleared, so not good for a bobtail at all.
Hopefully a bit later in the day things will get better.
I can pick up any time today, and if I can manage it I should have no problem with on time delivery.

My worst nightmare, bobtails and snow.

Its taking these guys with the Reach lift foreva .. of course they are reloading this stuff with the boom in a rail container for onsite storage. And you have to move very easy the idiotic way these are double stacked.

The 2nd sack is sitting on the first non paletized, and this stuff is light enough i could knock it over with a good shove.

I did bobtail and snow once. Fresh snow and the roads hadn't been cleared, not fun. Be careful Moose and good luck.

Loading in Ardmore, unload in Houston tommorow ...

I'm not leaving the house as long as the roads look slick. I may end up siting it out until tomorrow.
