Hey everyone, about a year ago, I rolled over my truck which was loaded. I was discharged from my job because of this. There was no other vehicle involved. I was put at fault for the accident. I got a lawyer involved, and was able to settle without receiving any points on record.
Since the the accident I’ve been working as a yard jockey in the port. I’ve had a lot of trouble finding a company that will take me on. I have 2 years of driving experience and I live near Charleston, SC
Any advice for someone in my situation?
Is my trucking career over?

If no points, any local company will hire you. All you do is leave that last job reference out. If they are curious about what you have been up to for work, all you say is that you were running for a buddy of yours.BigDog Trucker and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
