    I was a driver for a taxi company. Independent contractor. First they were ok with me showing documentation. So I showed driver receipts for every single month. My name and driver number clearly states on there. Then they kept threatening to drop me. Saying that was not sufficient. Finally they were ok with me just giving references. They don't return calls. And it has been more of a hassle and headache to deal with them than anything.

    So what is it ?
    What is everyone so concerned about in your 'paperwork'?

    You are not giving clear and accurate information, it seems to me.

    Thanks for coming back and updating the thread and congrats for getting your cdl.

    Being end if the year, its gonna be a mess hiring on anywhere. I'd get the process started, but wouldn't jump in to a truck till 1st of the year.

    She was a taxi driver, on a 1099. She provided the proof of past work experince to PAM and they jerked her around saying it was good enough at 1st, then it wasnt, then it was.

    Clear as mud? K good.
