Ok, well I don't now about the one in MI, but i have a friend who has been working for them in Toledo 10 yrs or so, he's pretty happy there, all hourly, overtime after 50 I believe, home every w/end, I know there getting into doubles alot now, which is more work for you, as you load/ unloadyour own trl, the line drivers are putting mostly 14 hr days in(or more), but home eveyday although just to sleep. so i guess if thats what your looking for it be ok. here they drive to cinci, cleveland and lansing, 1 trip per night, unload, drive back and load again, hope this helps

 

My brother worked there a few years ago. He was running from Mishawaka IN, to Indy most of the time, but also went to Lansing, and Cleveland. He hated the place. Lots of sitting around, dockwork, etc.
I worked there about 20 years ago, when they were still Teamsters. Completely different company these days.

 

Dress really warn in the winter, theres no doors on the GR dock, was esier to take them down then pay to fix them.

 

Was never there, was signed on with Universal Am-Can and went to a few of their terminals. Some were ready to be knocked over or just fall down. Talked to one of their drivers from the Gr term a few weeks ago and he was telling me about having to work the dock in the winter and i have to go to that neigborhood for deliveries once in a while.
