Loves and PFJ are $12 cash price if you don’t have any credits. Not sure about T/A and Petro as I don’t ever stop at those lately. I think they were $14 last I checked?

Lots of smaller independent places will only charge $8-10. PFJ is the only place I ever get freebies since they are the only one that gives 1/2 credits on purchases less than 50 gallons. That is an important detail for little truck operators who can’t buy 50 gallons.

well, if someone does not have credits, and did not buy fuel, the (to me) $15.00 is reasonable for a long shower.

if (the average) driver only showers a few times per week, rather than daily, this cost is not that great.

i'd however gripe if it were a daily cost.

and since a driver will be fueling up more during the week, then free showers should be available with x amount of a fuel purchase.

i don't "see" the reason for the "ridiculous" comment from the o/p....especially when many drivers spend more than $15.00 (maybe per day) for coffee, sodas, snacks.....etc.

priorities people, gotta get your priorities in check.

Taking a quick look into showers just after used will quickly tell you why they charge as much as they do. Pigs in a sty are better behaved.

and i personally have seen where the "clean up crew", is just as bad.

like the time i was down south, and the "cleaner" was using the BLACK water from moping the floors for moping the shower stalls..!!!!!

i jotted down (at the time) to never shower there.....

Running a big truck you should practically never have to pay for one since basically all truck stop chains or independents will give you a freebie with a 50 gallon purchase. If you ran at least 300-350 miles that day you burned at least that much.

Yeah TA/Petro is $15. Sometimes $17 if it's during "peak" shower hours...

    Upinsmoke Thanks this.
