Trucking employment dips again in July

wonder how they figure in the mega carriers with 125-130% turnover

 

I think they get numbers from those collecting unemployment so it could be much worse.

 

But wait the trucking schools are hiring, no I mean looking for gullible students and their cash because you know trucking has those high paying jobs right now.

 

I say double the number and you are probably close.

 

This is all occupations but gives you an idea of how much greater the numbers can be. That's about 16% compared to the 9% which is being reported.

You're right, it's just about double for all occupations, and probably more for trucking.

 

Let's spend more tax payer money.....WIA type programs, are paying for un-qualified US citizens, to train at CDL school's.
"I got 10 DWI, four misdemeanors, and a dope charge.....BUT, I can get trained for free, and never see a truck?"
Maybe, the States need to get there own "Pre-hire" formula...Before they give out this money?
......Let alone training for a NON existent job !
