Kid acrosst the street from me has the ag460 on his 2018 w9. Had problems (prolly still does but won’t admit it since I had a good friend explain about how to rectify they situation) with poor ride quality bc the two valves were always fighting one another. #### thing would run itself out of air just setting there as they were always trying to compensate against one another.

The one in the center is for the regular ride height. The one off to the side is for a factory override to get a few more inches of height for picking up trailer or crossing railroad tracks.

10.4 I was thinking his were a lot closer to side by side than front to back.

Gotcha, I have been wanting to figure out exactly how to plumb something in like that, sometimes when I drop and hook, the trailers are way too high, it would make it much easier if I could just override the bags.

We pull some power only trailers that are very lopsided in weight and therefore have a leveling valve on each side. I believe they use Hendrickson brand leveling valves that have a bit of a “dead spot” in the middle where they won’t add or subtract air for a few degrees of the travel.

This is how some of our trailer are plumbed, with a pilot controlled valve. On my truck the “hand valve” is replaced with the second leveling valve set at a higher then normal height. A simple air switch on the dash operates every thing.

When I was flatbed I used dunnage under my tires to fix that issue. Now that I don't carry dunnage I used crank it and cuss out the shuttle driver who left it that way.

Thanks, that is simple enough. A friend has his without another leveling valve, but he has to get out and do it manually. This is more of what I was wanting.

Have done both for years, but the older I get the easier I like things to be. lol Might be just getting lazy. lol

All the old f/liner fld had that on ft axle you could bend a old 5th wheel puller hook end and grab the air adj rod and pop it out to make air bags go up all the way to get under a hi dropped trailer with out getting grease on shirt then snap it back in rubber bushing after rolling up legs

Me last night in the quarry with bent forks and one headlight.. Pushing a pallet off the other side of the deck. I got out and looked a dozen times trying to get the tips in, even stacked rock under on the far side so it couldnt teeter. Nope. It showed me.

I did tell it exactly what i thought of it at high volume however, so theres that.
