I couldn't find this in any thread on this site.. .Do women drivers have trouble with Lot Lizzards hitting on them, and what is the best way to deal with them?? I have heard they can really mess up a truck if ya make em mad...

 

Well; the trick is to hit them at less than 30 mph. That way they don't mess up the truck too bad....

Its not so much the LL hitting on me as the banging on the door in the middle of the night. In the warm weather I sleep with my windows open and when I hear the knockin' I have to kick my numbskull dawg to DO SOMETHING! So he jumps up and hangs his head out the window. That's when I hear a scream...but they don't see his #### tail wagging inside the cab cause he thinks he has a new playmate. So far nothing bad has happened...but maybe I better check my pockets to make sure Earl isn't secretly giving them the business!

 

I keep a can of Lysol in my shower bag! I'm sorry,but I see some of these guys cleaning the shower rooms...and I feel better giving everything a nice coating of disinfectant. However...I ALWAYS leave a tip! Just a dollar or two..unless I also use a tub,then I'll leave 3 bucks. I mean,the showers are free if you fuel there so WTF!
There are some real neanderthals out there and they are the ones on the cb most of the time. I've been told to put some disgusting things in parts of my anatomy simply for asking a question on the radio! In this day and age there are some men who will never see you as a 'fellow driver',they will watch EVERYTHING you do! If you go too slow through a truckstop(cause you don't want to hit anyone),too many pull ups to park(cause you want to be exactly straight),have to swerve to the shoulder(cause some idiot can't keep his tandems in his own lane)...some pain in the ### will have to put you down. Believe me not all of them..just the ones who want to hear themselves talk! Believe me...I'm a menopausal Sicilian woman having hot flashes,if anyone wants to rattle my cage they better pack a lunch,LOL. Just deliver your loads on time,stay out of harms way..and be the best you know you can be. I watch what everyone does out there and I copy the best and ignore the rest.

 

Well good luck to you and your freind on the choice of trucking together. Most everyone else has given you my answers for teaming so I wont go there. Now as for the other male drivers watch out some of them can be real pigs and there are some that think your place is barefoot pregnent and in the kichen. And they wont be afraid to voice it. Just ignore then and pretend they arnt there. Me I am not one of those so you wont get any crap from me.
