Here is why rates are tanking!

Running the wrong sign with an oversize has much bigger implications than speeding in a freight truck.

 

Even if someone is a troll chances are good they know the industry. It’s kind of hard to troll something you don’t know about.

 

Running a sign that is slightly smaller has very little implications, compared to speeding in a freight truck.
How many accident are caused by speed. How many by a 5ft sign instead of a 7ft?
Again, if those implications were so severe, I would have been ripped already by officers who could make easy money with that blatant violation?

 

You’ll find out in court when they void your permit and slap you with a couple thousand dollar fine.

 

LMAO pal, you apparently never had a permit revoked due to not following the provisions.

Look believe what you want. It doesn’t have squat to do with safety, but the right guy will light you up. Also for the guys that know what they are doing you may as well have a sign that says I’m a scab that doesn’t take the time or money to do things right.

 

That's not what you said, so keep back tracking. You said it was illegal. Which as I said was only half right (2 of 5 states in my trip). Good to know as I said to sypder, something to keep an eye out for.

Nope, never had a permit revoked. I read my permits quite carefully. I actually go above what is normally needed. I run more flags than normally required. I run my strobes regardless of whether the permit tells me to. So while I appreciate help learning new things, I have zero tolerance when people try to correct me with wrong information(well half wrong).

 

What are the sign requirements in the states your running?

 

Running strobes when not needed will also get you a ticket in certain states.

 

Well so if you actually "carefully read" all your permits and provisions, youd know your sign was illegal. Are you ok? You're having an awful hard time here tonight.
