    Congrats looks like you might just have found a home. Before leaving the industry I drove for 7-8 years but only with two companies. Now that I'm getting back in I'm hoping for the same luck.

    I've only had six jobs so far and I'd like to keep it under ten for my lifetime.

    Ok for those table 1, ones yes, but we don't haul explosives ever and others we rarely if ever do.

    Also, i don't de-placard once i get to a terminal----because there is still a chance it could catch fire or spill while in a door. We had a propane explosion in a trailer while it was backed into a dock not too long ago.

    Got an offer for a part time spot with a local fuel hauling company today. I’ve wanted to haul fuel in the worst way since I got my CDL. I’m going to use it to insulate myself when the slow season hits my location during the summer. $30/hr for Saturday work and a break into fuel hauling which has been a challenge for me for some reason.

    I've been batting around the idea of local fuel hauling myself... gotta diversify my portfolio and I've had the itch to get back into tanker work for the better part of 4 years now. $30/hr is a nice rate, especially for a local/regional carrier.

    The only concern I’d have with hauling fuel is shoehorning too big of a truck into too small of a gas station.

    There is a small Shell station at the corner of Mass. Ave and Columbus Ave. in the south end of Boston. Every time I have driven by that I envision that little postage stamp sized station intersecting at two incredibly busy roads in Boston is the stuff that nightmares are made of, since it looks to me by the layout of the property, you have to blindside from the street off the Mass. Ave side onto the property.
