Sounds like it's being starved of fuel? It started up after awhile and ran fine. Just thought it was funny. Also tested the battery monitoring system. Hooked up my coffeemaker to my inverte . Ran it till the apu should've kicked on. The unit then turned on for maybe half a sec turned off and showed alarm saying battery discharge. Going back to the installation place 1st thing monday morning

Try turning it off and on, or maybe there’s a reset button somewhere. Coffeemakers draw a lot of power, so it’s best to have the APU running before you start using any high-power device. I’m now thinking it’s not possible to do what I’m saying with a battery-powered APU.

Probably, but TK APUs cost more.

Ya tk quoted me at 13k. Got this one installed at 10.3 with shore power I also like that it's a stand alone unit. Doesnt tie into my trucks coolant and stuff. So if my gen(apu) had a leak it doesnt drain my truck.

    Rideandrepair and PE_T Thank this.

If you haul reefer, you can use the reefer to jump your truck. I’ve done it in the past. Just carry long jumper cables.

I'm not super familiar with the Dynasys, but my Carrier Comfort Pro that tied into the coolant was good bc it kept the engine block warm on cold nights when the APU was running or vice versa the engine kept the APU warm, it also had shut off valves to prevent the truck from draining ( which I learned the hard way :) but still a great feature. And of course it charged the batteries
