I got a ticket for 15 over. Speedlimit changed from 65 to 55(I was jamming to music zoning out a little bit. It was my mistake.) My truck is governed at 68 and I did not catch the speedlimit change and got pulled. Officer told me I was going 70/55mph. I was like I didn't realize the speed changed before I got into hardford ct. I'm scared I'm probably gonna get fired. All I can say is be safe everyone & be mindful. I know this is going to haunt me. However this is my first offense and nothing on my mvr, csa and psp. Anyone know anything I can do. I thought the officer was giving me a break by giving me a warning but as I've been doing more research I'm now realizing how wrong I am. I normally drive 3-4over but this one got me good. Anyone have any experience with a situation like this or any advice. Thanks again!

15 over is serious. Hope it wasn't in a construction zone. Good luck, hope everything works out and lesson learned.
Truckerbrezze Thanks this. -
You say you got warning on the speeding and a level 3 inspection. Your companies CSA score is gonna take a hit and your PSP will as well.
BUMBACLADWAR, buddyd157 and Truckerbrezze Thank this. -
yeah.. the warning will hurt. Hopefully your record with the company is a good one and you get to keep your job.

No it wasnt in a construction zone. Thank god

Yeah Im on really good terms with my boss. But from what I'm reading the insurance my drop me because it's such a big thing. My last 3 years of perfect driving with a CDL has came to an end. Idk if y'all can tell, but I'm scared as hell.

Since he gave you a warning on the speeding it wont go on your MVR. The CSA points that your company gets will automatically drop off in 2 years, and the points that you get on your PSP will drop off in 3 years. Just dont get any bad inspections at the scale house for the next 3 years. But good inspections will help you.Truckerbrezze Thanks this.

Let's repeat this yet one more time.....
There is no such thing as points on the PSP report!InTooDeep, formerJevic, dibstr and 1 other person Thank this. -
can you elaborate more. Even if there's no points, will it still effect my psp

The inspection did more damage me thinks. Even if it was a perfect one.
What people need to see is that so and so may be a cool owner etc. Thats wonderful, however when the insurance companies dig their spurs into his cool money and demands him to eliminate the 15 and over drivers.. well driver such a such is going to be unemployed. Particularly when the state finds out why.
Remember a workaround is to be with a small fleet that has only a few people and do not give a *&^% for your history. You are a warm body with the right licensing to show up o dark early and get into that dump truck and fire her up. Aint none of that OTR stuff in sight to bother anyone. In terms of stress free, dump truck and farm work has been a treasured time of my life when OTR people laughed at say my 7 state points etc. I was able to make some money and sometimes enjoy life.Coffey and Truckerbrezze Thank this.
