I figured that's what the deal was. Bummer! If I did the egr delete without having the ecm flashed will i get better mileage?

had same delete kit on my 07 d12 for about 7 years or so. i had already plugged my crossover tube before the kit. my egr cooler and small coolant pipes have always got hot even though there is no coolant in them. i have had no issues with the engine at all. 1.5 million miles no engine work done and only uses 1 gallon of oil every 15-20k miles. I say don't worry about it but maybe plug crossover pipe with 1.25 inch plumbing plug just for piece of mind that no gas is going into intake.

Did you gain alot of power from this kit? I gained about 1.5 miles per gallon more fuel efficieny, but only alittle more power. Been trying to gain more power by replacing the cac but no luck.

Did you have your ecm flashed or did you just plug her up?
