Dumb question, but... how does one know if the is a forward or driver facing camera? Are they always visible in the upper windshield area?

In our case they told us they were installing them and gave us a violation points sheet that included things like covering the driver facing lens. -

Seen a lawyer advertisement this morning about letters they send to companies involved in an accident. Saying we know what evidence you have basically. See I have always believed the cameras are a way for the company to reduce their liability in an accident by shifting more blame to the driver.

Of course, the last thing he said to us is “don’t believe what I say, do your own research.” -
Dynamic transit has hood mirror cameras ostensibly for “side views”, but you have to wonder if that has a view of the driver included.
