Hello everyone!
I'm in need of help in regards the TCS and ABS ( on the truck), please.
The codes that I got on the computer are in the Brake ECU tab:
MID 136 SID 89 FMI 2
MID 136 SID 4 FMI 14
My unit it's a 2012 Volvo vnl 670 ,Cummins isx ,13 speed.
Vin CN 553443
So the TCS light in the cluster it's solid ON, the switch on the dashboard it doesn't do anything if turned on/off.
It started to be like this ,ON ,since I tried to enter the shop where the ground level was different, so I switched ON the front axle switch in order to move .Since then the TCS stayed on. While trying to switch it off from the button it doesn't do anything.
I greatly appreciate your time and expertise into all your answers posted above. Hope you can help me.
Thanks allot !

Pull the plastic kick plate off on the lower left by the tilt column pedal. Check the pressure switches on the firewall. Pull the electrical connectors off one at a time and look for green corrosion on the connectors. Chances are water got in them and shorted the switches out.

Thanks allot Mudman78!
After reading everything that was posted here in regards the TCS ,ABS , I will definitely check on those 4 or so,sensors.
Still trying to get information on those 2 codes.
Thanks allot! -
this code is for the steering column sensor it is linked to the abs/traction control system
i believe usually a problem with a coroded wire, mine was a connector under the cab on inside of frame rail
MID 136 SID 4 FMI 14
sid 4 is your front drive axle, right side wheel, abs faultAttached Files:

Hello gentlemen,
In reading your post on the TCS light I have a question / comment.
I just replaced my kingpin bushing and bearings as well as the tie rods and center link assembly. The TCS light never came on unless turned on by button on dash. AFTER the kp and tie rod work the TCS light is now on and I cannot turn it off. Could this some how be tied to a bad ABS sensor? Just thinking outside the box here, seeing how this problem did not show up until after the work. I also changed the inner and outer wheel bearings while in there. Figured to ask y'all. Hope that helps and any input is appreciated too.
Thanks,
Tee
