In high wind passes. They have high speed windmills. Many in California. They kill birds.
Out here on the prairie. These are big slow windmills. Winds get high and they shut down. Only the stupidest bird would get himself killed in one of these.

Some humor to brighten the end of the day

 

So... I went for my walk on the beach this afternoon... it's wasn't too hot IMO.. it was clouded and the water was nicely warm..
Here is a summary of my walking... most images are GIF for some action and they are all in a sequence...
Folks sitting on chairs enjoying beverages and snacks....


They had set a small stage and were playing some kind of electronic music...







I think that folks on stage belonged to some kind of gym...

 

It's too cold on this Snow thread... maybe my summary of walking on the beach today warms this up a little...

On my way back I passed in front of the stage again and stopped for a while.... they were playing a different kind of music.. not electronic any more... a guy was singing and dancing and the crowd had increased...

Folks holding glasses of beer, dancing and having fun....

 

Folks on the stage called some girls and guy from the audience to dance on the stage and the winner would gain a gift card to buy something somewhere....



I was going to load 20 more images... most GIFs but they seem to be too large to go thru.... and I gotta cook my dinner and shower.. going to get up at 4 am... going to the city of Rio tomorrow.. going to be a busy day... So.. later y'all....
