I noticed as well. I went back and reread that thread. Lot of armchair quarterbacks assuming a lot. Thanks for the video. Clears things up. Thanks for bringing this kind of thing to the public eye. Hope you take the company/security people to the cleaners. Best of luck to you.
I have an update on being assaulted for those that haven’t heard yet.

Re -reading that thread was informative! Wonder if some of the posters (that still post daily) have anything to say. After seeing the video, I mean.

Good.for you! This was wrong from the beginning.i got into a long debate with V tar or whatever his name is in another thread related to this. Those wanna be cops had no right to hold you there.if you didnt want your truck searched then it was your right to refuse and leave, they are not law enforcement officers.
I was a police officer for 26 years, we would not have made an arrest at the scene for this, it would.have been up to the complaintlant to try and sign a warrant..which wouldn't have happened in our city. As a truck driver now, ain't no shipper or receiver going through our stuff..I will call dispatch and refuse to load or unload at any place that does this. Glad the case was dismissed, sounds like they had no choice since they didnt show up for court, now go.sue them for all they got!drvrtech77, D.Tibbitt, diesel drinker and 2 others Thank this. -
The techniques the security guards used made me think they’re off duty police officers but the fact they would be so stupid not to know that you’re free to leave at anytime made me think they were PD rejects.

I can’t believe the cops arrested anyone either. Two ppl not under the influence show up for the purpose to conduct business.
Then an incident occurs and the cops are given two different stories.
It wasn’t domestic violence they weren’t required to make an arrest. Strange all the way around that that many bad decisions were made in a row.alds, TokyoJoe, diesel drinker and 2 others Thank this. -

Clinton lost the initial fight
Clinton lost when the cops came
Clinton lost in court first time
Now the prosecutors drop it on appeal
This man has a lot more patience than I have. I wish him all the best. I hope Paragon security offers him a few million to just drop and I hope the shipper offers him a few more million to go away , they were way out of line and should pay dearly for it. If he wanted to leave , just let him leave already and be done with it but oh no idiots with badges have to push there weight around. If we lose our second amendment you will see this every day. Freedom isn’t free.alds, drvrtech77, Lpirtle and 5 others Thank this. -
Disparity of numbers excess of reasonable situation would be one that meets a defensive draw criteria. If I was armed in the first place. The drivers door is a poor and no go route anyway, that only encourages Thug Inc to punch in and get to work.
It is clear that the Security either detained (By extension held him against his will to leave) or set up a situation where it's very smooth for the gaurds to get thuggy all over one person. Most people don't know this but if I got a knee in the back it will snap spine in half and that would be that for either life (Dead in a few minutes or hours) or immoblized permanently due to osteopenia (Loss of bone mass) If I am going to be stuck in a stupid wheelchair, pay me 5 million cash for the honors. Out of all 6 and the security company plus changes in the procedure and training.
As a side note I might even buy a tractor configured to accept vehicle controls and wheel chair side loading. It does everything else anyway. //snarky
You do not get to detain truckers wanting out. Thats police powers and security does not have that quite met just yet. No theft occurred, no crime has been uncovered other than arriving early etc) and so forth.
When I went to Best Buy long ago to purchase relatively expensive parts, I would get a yellow shirt involved and stay with me until the purchasing is finished. Yellow shirts in those days have the power to detain anyone on purpose for suspected theft etc. And Blue Shirts are just what I call mob action. They have to obey a yellow shirt in all things, however they are encouraged to slow down the "Escaping" shoplifter who just paid a thousand in parts and has recept.
That was the last time I go to BB, I get all my parts via Newegg now and other items locally sourced even if I have to wait on Mississippi to build it custom at the factory there.Clinton1978 Thanks this. -
Hope you and your wife walk away with a couple million from these scumbags
