Same here, they don't make a lot of sense. We hardly use outriggers here. So I don't need to think about them.

We have a 9 axle Faymonville that is complicated as brain surgery. So I feel your pain...

Haha, the one I'm driving now is empty. Well it will be once mine is out of the shop. And there is a couple new ones on the way. These 'cool' trailers are a lot of work.

Maybe some day, I have it pretty good where I’m at. I pull some trailers that are “a lot of work” but that’s mostly because they are poorly designed junk that don’t work even when they are brand new! D5560064-903E-461A-A8BD-D4B1A1714C9E.jpeg

If only I was about 10 years younger...I went to our 40th class reunion a few yrs ago. Turns out, an old friend is now the CEO of some conglomerate that owns a few heavy haul outfits. I jokingly asked him for a job telling him I'd been doing oversize for about 30 yrs, but didn't really want to relocate. He said maybe they could domicile me from their location on the other side of the state. Like I said, if only I was younger...you guys move some pretty amazing stuff.

Going around corners so far is awesome. Just drive like I'm in a car and the trailer follows me around anything. Backing up is laughable as this turns so much shorter. Wait until we add in deck sections tomorrow and I have to blind side into their building. May have to give the remote control to my helper/escort.
