The people here, for the most part, are trying to help, even if what they are saying my not be what you want to hear. You won't last around here with a thin skin and everyone here gets some criticism at some point. Just the nature of a public forum.
And I wasn't brow beating, and whether you get pissed off or not is of little concern to me. My statement in my previous post stands.
And that is also a fact.
How do I move past a dirty DAC report?

In my defense, however, it causes me a lot of distress when I see this. New drivers (and sometimes us old guys) don't really understand the awesome responsibility they take on when operating a class 8 CMV. They seem to not want to accept that this industry places 100% of the blame on the driver, there can be mitigating circumstances, of course, safety and loss prevention depts take these into consideration. Successful drivers understand this and go on to have great careers. Some don't and they soon leave the industry. I am not sure there is much more to say and I agree with @dptrucker might be time to consider locking this one up! -
My starter company never used dac. But they put out up front. We don't fire very many people. So if we let you go. Dont use us for a referance. I miss those guys. But atleast in case of this company. The safety director. Drove for 27 years. And if it didn't add up he would tell you.
He was 70 something and didnt give a ####. Bout political correctness. I miss you +×÷=% trucking -

You can dispute the DAC report. Once you do the company is then forced to supply credible documents about the incidents. If they can't or don't do so in the time limit, the report is removed.

The way disputes were explained to me was regardless of the outcome a notation was added the driver disputes the entry. Federal and State laws are clear when it comes to reporting services. In the case of the OP they were fired. There is nothing you can do to dispute this. The minutia of the reason can be. The process is not going to automatically result in a removal.

I didn’t read through the whole thread.
I’m similar to you. Give Crete a try.
I did. They hired me. But had me take defensive driving class. Also put a dash cam in my truck. Usually no dash cam.
I have two months with Crete. They removed the dash cam today.
I apologize. Crete won’t hire you if you were terminated for any reason. I wasn’t. Might still try? They know. DG is a tough account. They do use comprehension. Know the industry.
I’m sure they’d love to save a driver from Werner. Just down the freeway from Crete’s headquarters. I’m sure they’re rubbing it in on my past employers.Last edited: Jan 16, 2020
