Funny things you have seen at truckstops

Some of them would smell better soaked in diesel.

 

All of them had their trucks off for days with temperatures over 110 degrees

 

My setup while this is happening..

 

I once spilled a small amount of diesel on my pants at the pump. I forgot to separate it from the rest of my laundry.

Was pleasantly suprised at the result and thinking of doing it again on purpose.

It gave the rest of my clothes in the batch of wash a nice manly smell that wasn’t too overpowering and much better than normal soap fragrances.

 

I was waiting at truck stop near Springfield Ohio back in the 70's, for dispatch to find me a load, and out of the restaurant comes this guy wearing green underwear, black socks and brown shoes with a crowd of people chasing him!
Must have been close to a dozen people at one point including a couple cops that had arrived on the scene and they chased that dude all over the parking lot, couldn't get near him.
The whole bunch of them gave up, the cops were winded with hands on their knees trying to catch their breath and the crazy guy was standing a few feet away from them cheering them on and urging them to keep chasing him.
At the end the guy in the underwear walked up to the cops and gave himself up.
I don't know what he was tripping on, but that dude was really fast!

 

When I first started driving a truck I was with my trainer and we stopped in a truckstop, in the restroom there was this dude washing a naked 2-3 year old kid in the sink with the kid screaming the entire time. I thought WTF does this guy think this place is? (Was obviously a foreigner). Maybe he ran out of shower credits?

What I found out after turning the corner to get to the urinals though made it even worse.

I tried to get to the urinals but there were 2 more older 5-6 year old naked kids running around the room into and out of stalls chasing each other like they were on recess at school. I finally made it there and got out as fast as possible.

After that, also with the trainer, I saw a truck pull up to a fuel island and a man stepped out, then a woman handed him a little kid, then at least 3 older kids climbed out, then a couple of women climbed out. One looked like the grandmother. I think there were 7-8 people in that truck. Hopefully that guys company pulls light loads.

 

What in the actual hell?

Look closely. The big guy has one around his neck.
