Wrap, wrap, wrap it up, I’ll take it.

One thing that can be a saver. Fuel anti-gel additive.
For the most part, not in to additives, but extremely cold temps are the exception.

It depends on the tractor. See back in 1950 or so Fergusson and Ford were shaking hands from the 2N series up through 800 series. The interesting thing was it was more a Fergusson tractor and people still liked buying the TEA20. Park them side by side and there is no difference. Other than the Ford stuff had the word Ford in the casting After googling the 8n image I would have to say the tractor your asking about is a 8N
The first pic is a Fergusson Tea20 in England.

The second pic is a 8N. The only other difference is that Fords had the battery box lid in the hood. Also in After the 8N through the hundred series a air intake grill could be found in the hood.

62 more days to spring. I can hardly wait!

If there isnt a autoparts store? Go to a garden center and buy some 3/4" rubber garden hose. Make sure it is the rubber stuff. The plastic stuff wont hold up and usually has ribbing inside that makes clamping impossible. Mind you the garden hose is only a patch until a proper repair can be made.

Usually... It’s just a matter of if the APU/bunk heater can keep the cab warm. Many won’t when that cold. So you idle.
Fuel additive good idea below zero. I used PS in the great polar vortex of 2019, in Chicago. I saw 34 below zero. High idled the truck at 1200rpm. Followed PS’ directions. When that cold. Double normal amount. Also the reefer came through just fine. Same PS treatment.

Slipped and busted my ### on the ice last night . It wasnt a graceful fall either , it was a full body slam and slid down the ice about 10ft after i hit the ground . Whole left side of my body is bruised. Im sure it looked funny as heck if anybody saw it. Dont get why its so hard to salt the ####ing parking lot.

I was able to get 3/4 heater hose at a Flying J truck service center last winter when I blew a heater hose. I think I paid like $2 for 3 feet.
