On the bright side atleast that 2200 mile "Big" company at .40 will atleast pay you the money you earned... Not to mention you will be getting more experience, that way you can get yourself a better paying gig with a new company after another year or two....
Everyone seems to think you drive for 1 year and should instantly be paid top dollar???

What???
@Kertis, you had @Chinatown suggesting some companies to research, and instead you went for a shady Chigago outfit???
I get it, you wanted to go straight into making the big $$$ after your first year on the road. I really don't understand it...Lonesome Thanks this. -
No. @Chintown suggested some companies to research after I had this experience in Chicago. You gotta understand it's not that newbies are asking to make 'top dollar'. I used to work for a broker and make $750 a week sitting behind a desk Mon-Fri with weekends off and full benefits. I didn't spend close to $6000 and months of CDL training to then
1. Risk my Life on the Road
2. Compromise my personal time on the road
3. Work longer hours
Just to make $750 to $800 with a big company who pays drivers nothing because of "Insurance Reasons". There is plenty "at the top" to go around, I know because I've booked plenty of loads. This industry is the backbone of the American Economy and nothing moves without Transportation. As drivers we have to start thinking in Abundance. We've gotta stop letting THEM convince US it's okay to pay us slave wages because we're "New".
I hope you understand where I'm coming from -

They are the worst company In all of the 10+ years of my experience I have ever worked for!!! What can I say ?! I really messed up, drop the ball per say, poor decision planning on my behalf, wishful thinking, lost of foresight. Beware all ladies and gentlemen of the Trucking industry....
If your a OTR Driver and looking to earn great pay with experience, safe, reliable, well maintained equipment, people that have a clue on how to operate a trucking business, PROPER COMMUNICATION IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE, follows fmcsa rules and regulations, exhibits OSHA Standards or perform within DOT Guidelines legally!??! then this isn't the place for you. If you are a Professional Commercial Driver and would like to keep a operating license in good standing, then this isn't the place for you. But If you're looking to work almost for free, being Compensated $800 bucks for only one month AFTER going 3 WEEKS WITHOUT PAY all while driving across America snow storms and heavy weather in 30 days time then...THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!!!! ACTS LIKE THESE OF A COMPANIES BEHAVIOR WILL TIP THE FINANCIAL SCALES IN MY HOUSEHOLD, SURELY THIS FORM OF OPPRESSION, DECEPTION AND MISTREATMENT IS UNLAWFUL WHER AS JAIL TIME SHOULD APPLY!!!!!!
Only about your experience if anything, no one speaks understandable English!!!
I barely could make out what was said about their illegal escrow of $1500 withdrawal so called security blanket money coming out every week of my paycheck.
To my Knowledge this applies to some owner ops, of course they wont have a problem saying they said this, but conveniently fail to mention that i would have to afford to go 3 weeks without pay before i can see a settlement. Then additional 2 more weeks after that time for second paycheck?!
They shared Limited information about your what's, when's, where's, why's or how's! You just have to be creative. -
truckguy391 Thanks this.

They do this to 80% of their drivers, combine that with stealing from brokers, committing insurance fraud and not paying taxes and you see they have a lucrative business model.
For those of you uneducated truckers, if you don't know what lucrative means I suggest you look it up on Google. HINT: it has to do with money!truckguy391 Thanks this.
